Meet our new award winning Director of Sales, Zoe Middleton
It has been wonderful to welcome our new Director of Sales, Zoe Middleton, to the team. Zoe has over 15 years’ experience in the property industry with corporate agencies in Bristol and Somerset. A real rising star, she has won the prestigious Hat Trick award for her accomplished and sustained performance in her previous roles.
“I’m excited to be working with an independent agency that has a wide network of branches, which means we can really help our customers move by not only selling their homes but finding their next dream property, stretching from the Royal Forest of Dean to the South Wales Valleys. My role is to add value in the day-to-day operations, to strengthen the network in the aim of becoming an ‘under one roof’ agency that takes the stress out of the customer journey.”
Zoe has a real passion for property, getting onto the property ladder herself at just 19 years of age. She is very accomplished in her DIY skills and has bought and sold more than 10 properties, undertaking most of the renovation works herself. In addition to this she also has experience being a professional landlord.
Zoe has recently made a huge lifestyle change, too: “We have traded city living for the good life, recently buying a charming cottage, which we are lovingly restoring in a beautiful village. When moving I experienced some of the many frustrations buyers have with lack of communication, and this is something that we work exceptionally hard on at Bidmead Cook, to ensure that the customer always receives the highest level of customer care throughout the entire transaction period.
Whilst the property industry has faced many ups and downs during my career, I believe that property remains one of the best investments you can make. Here at Bidmead Cook we support people’s dreams, whether they are a first-time buyer just stepping onto the ladder, or a couple downsizing after 30 years in the same house, we support you on the emotional journey of buying a home.
My lifestyle change has been similar to that of many of our clients. I think clients really connect with our team as they all live in the area, and love where they live. I have only been with Bidmead Cook a short time, but I can see how much our team care and are genuinely interested in providing them with a quality service.”
What are her thoughts on the current property market?
“Supply continues to be an issue across the board; there simply isn’t enough stock coming onto the market to meet the demand levels, so things priced right are selling, as people still want to move. People ask if things are cooling down, and we may see in some places the property prices stabilising as opposed to climbing. We are registering a strong level of motivated buyers every day, and there are good levels of sales being agreed across our network, with high first-time buyer demand as the cost of borrowing remains affordable.
