Pencoed - addition to our team
Pencoed is the newest branch to join our Bidmead Cook family, and now it is seeing more changes in the form of an additional duo. They may not quite be Batman and Robin, but they are ready to join Rebecca and put their talents to good use and help you move. Let’s start with our new Branch Manager, Scott Jenkins.
Scott Jenkins, Branch Manager
Scott is not new to property, as he has worked all across South Wales over the years. Becoming our Pencoed Branch Manager is not the only challenge in his life, as he and his Irish wife Eva live in a little village called Gwaelod-y-Garth and are currently restoring a 300-year-old farmhouse. “It has incredible views; from our bedroom you can see Cardiff and the Millennium Stadium; you can even see across the channel on a clear day,” Scott tells us.
Property is in his blood; from the age of 5 he has been around builders, as he has property developers in his family. This early interest led him to completing a Master’s in Town and Country Planning, and he has since gone on to work in residential property, auctions, and has extensive knowledge of new homes and planning.
Scott is focused on raising brand awareness and building confidence in the local area. He brings a positive approach, as well as a wealth of experience.
Our new administrator is Jade Owen
For former Police Community Support Officer, Jade, property was the change she was looking for.
Before joining Bidmead Cook I was a Police Community Support Officer, and part of the child protection team for South Wales Police for the last ten years. I needed a new challenge in my life and fancied a complete career change. I am looking forward to the challenges that will come my way working for Bidmead Cook and Williams.
My husband and I live on a small holding with our many dogs, horses, and sheep. I enjoy horse riding, nice food and, of course, the odd glass of wine.
Come and say hi
Passing our Pencoed office? Come and say hi to Scott, Rebecca and Jade; they are looking forward to meeting you.
