It’s not very often we have the privilege of selling such a remarkable property as this Grade II listed 16th century farmhouse in Llanvapley.  Lavishly restored, it caught the eye of a couple from Bristol who are relocating to the area.

“Obviously it is a little harder to sell a house of this price due to the amount of people looking locally in the price bracket, but, as we told the vendor, we only need one person, and that’s what happened – one viewing – and it sold!!” said Kate Carr from our Abergavenny branch.

We are seeing a growing trend of people from Bristol heading over the bridge in search of more reasonably priced property.  Bristol has one of the fastest growing markets, which has seen property prices soar, and this has left many looking at close and easily accessible areas to live, whilst still working in the city.
