So, when it comes to your home, how will you know that your choice of estate agent is the right one for you and your home, without taking some time to research?
Before you invite any estate agent round to value your property, do your homework. Do they have any ‘for sale’ boards and, more importantly, ‘sold’ boards in your area? The agent may look amazing, but if they have no track record of selling property in your area, how do you know that they can sell yours?
Have you checked out their websites, social media, and also reviews? What are people saying about them? You wouldn’t buy a new car without checking out all the details first, would you?
When you have decided on three agents that meet your criteria, invite them around for a valuation, or should we say an ‘interview’. This is not their meeting, but yours; you need to question and challenge them so you know that they are the right agent to sell your biggest asset.
